500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, TCTSY-F (Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator)

Jamie Stanish (she/her) is a trauma-sensitive yoga facilitator (TCTSY-F) and RYT500 yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance. Her path into this work began during a season of profound change—leaving a harmful marriage, untangling relational trauma, and realizing talk therapy alone wasn’t enough. Yoga became her way back into her body, on her own terms.

She received her 200-hour RYT from Yoga Den in Jacksonville and holds advanced certifications in Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Applied Polyvagal Theory, Yoga to Transcend Sexual Trauma, Yin Yoga, and Y12SR (Yoga of 12-Step Recovery). Jamie offers both dynamic, strength-based practices as well as gentle, interoceptive classes rooted in agency and curiosity. She is available for private sessions, and offers group workshops as well.

Beyond the mat, Jamie is a parent, partner, poet, and graphic designer. She names her social locations—white, cisgender, lesbian, able-bodied, middle-class—and carries the privileges and struggles of these identities with awareness and accountability.

Come as you are. All vibes welcome. No forced serenity required.
