NOVEMBER 16TH 6:15 PM COME JOIN US FOR THIS RELAXING YOGA NIDRA RESTORATIVE CLASS. YOGA NIDRA IS YOGA SLEEP, IT IS A STATE BETWEEN SLEEPING AND WAKING. IN THIS WORKSHOP YOUWILL BE SAFELY GUIDED BY THE INSTRUCTOR AS YOU GO INTO A MEDITATIVE STATE. YOU WILL BE IN A COMFORTABLE RESTORATIVE POSE THROUGHOUT THE PRACTICE. YOGA NIDRA OFFERS YOUR BODY A RESTORATIVE RELATIONSHIP BRINGING POSITIVE BENEFITS TO THE BODY AND MIND. PLEASE BRING TWO TOWELS (BEACH TOWELS ARE GOOD) AND A PILLOW OR A SMALL BOLSTER. THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES TO ONE HOUR.
Introduction to Yoga NOVEMBER 21st 12-1:30
A beginner's class about the fundamentals of yoga Learn the basics: In this 1.5 hour workshop Raina will take you through foundational yoga postures, working on the alignment and enabling participants to get the adjustments they need to practice the postures more effectively. Students will learn all the Basic Sun A & Sun B postures, such as down dog forward fold, chaturanga & warrior one & 2 as well as some transitional poses.
