In this workshop we will find core muscle strength, bhanda work & mental focus, while having fun! We will learn and practice wrist & core strength, while opening various parts of the body by starting with some stretching and a short vinyasa practice focusing on core & arm strength. Following our warm up we will be guided through 9 arm balancing poses, such as crow, kaundinyasana 1 & 2, eka pada galvanasana , titibasana, just to name a few. Yogis will be safely guided and learn how to modify & how to build to strength to final pose. This workshop is for yogis looking to expand their practice . Come have fun and learn to fly with us! This Workshop is guided by Alicia Urban. Alicia has been teaching for over 20 years and trained at the Dharma Mittra style yoga training in North Carolina. Her personal practice is Dharma -Vinyasa based while sometimes regimented in Ashantaga. As a life long learner, she has taken classes from Hawaii to Alaska to New York to keep her inspired. She is certified in yoga, Pialites, SUP yoga, Barre & Pilates Reformer and has completed her 50th birthday goal of doing a headstand in all 50 states!
